We are excited to announce the addition of Karen Kotara to the Parish Staff. Karen, who started working with us on June 24, will be taking on the role of Pastor’s Secretary beginning July 1st.
Karen comes to OLA with an extensive history of experience working in Catholic Institutions across the country. She is a native Texan, who graduated from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX. She has been in the Atlanta area for three years. For the past 30+ years, she has worked in parishes in Texas and Marietta, GA, as well as with Catholic Charities and Catholic Schools.
She is also a lay consecrated member of the Focolare Movement (an ecclesial movement in the Church) and lives in a lay community of six women who assist with the spiritual formation of adults and children in the Spirituality of Communion. She enjoys anything related to the “great outdoors” and volunteering in the community.
