Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

"Let your door stand open to receive Him, unlock your soul to Him,

offer Him a welcome in your mind, and then you will see the riches of simplicity,

the treasures of peace, the joy of grace. Throw wide the gate of your heart,

stand before the sun of the everlasting light."

- Saint Ambrose

SPECIAL NOTICE:

Beginning Wednesday, April 20, 2022, Adoration will return to the Daily Chapel. We will resume the 8am start time (directly after the 7:30am Mass. If you are a current Guardian - or wish to become one - please fill out the information below with regard to scheduling.

Eucharistic Adoration is visiting and spending time in quiet prayer with Jesus present in the Eucharist. It is an expression of our love for Jesus, who loves us so much that He never wants to leave us and stays with us in the Blessed Sacrament.

Adoration takes place each Wednesday in the Church from 10am-6pm.

Adoration is followed by Evening Prayer and Benediction from 6-6:30pm each week, except on the 2nd Wednesday, when it is following by the Healing Rosary/Benediction.

Advanced sign up is not required although scheduled Adoration Guardians are required for each hour.

Adoration Guardians offer an hour of prayer each week before the Blessed Sacrament.  The Blessed Sacrament can never be left alone.  Guardians have a scheduled hour each week where you arrive on time and remain in prayer until the next Guardians arrive. We need at least 2 scheduled Guardians each week.

We need at least two guardians scheduled for each hour of Adoration offer.  Parishioners are needed as weekly guardians (sign up for one hour a week) and also as substitute guardians (to cover individual schedule conflicts as needed).

OUR GREATEST NEEDS ARE THE FOLLOWING HOURS:

  • 11am-12pm,

  • 3-4pm, and

  • 4-5 pm

If you wish to make a specific time commitment as a guardian or offer your time as a substitute guardian, please signup below.
