Introducing Families Forming Disciples

OLA is excited to introduce FAMILIES FORMING DISCIPLES to all of our families this year!

Families Forming Disciples is a hybrid, family-focused, thematic-activity approach where groups of families meet with catechists online and/or in-person to encounter the Lord together and to encourage each other to live as the Domestic Church in and through their home and family life.

The Archdiocesan Office of Formation and Discipleship is offering Families Forming Disciples as a specific way to assist parish catechetical leaders, catechists, and parents/families in the 2020-2021 faith formation year. By seeking to engage families in renewed ways, the hope is that the experiences and learning over this year will help all of us in taking a next step to advance family evangelization and faith formation.

ALL OLA families are invited to participate - not just those in our Children's Faith Formation Programt (formerly the Parish School of Religion.)

For more information check out this video and then contact OLA's Director of Children's Faith Formation, Elizabeth Piper at epiper@olachurch.org.
