Dear OLA Family,
#iGiveCatholic (on Giving Tuesday) is the U.S. Catholic Church’s Giving Day that kicks off the charitable season and brings the Catholic community together to give thanks and give back.
Last year on Giving Tuesday we asked you to support our campaign to raise the funds needed to upgrade the camera system in our church to provide for the livestreaming of Masses. You answered that call by generously donating $20,000 toward the new system. I thank you.
For our 2021 iGiveCatholic campaign we hope to give Moylan Hall a much needed overhaul! If you have attended an event in Moylan Hall - or been involved in set-up/tear-down you know that we need new chairs and a new sound system. Our current sound system and the chairs are all over 15 years old and are not in the best shape.
The new chairs will be padded folding chairs that are sturdier and more comfortable than the existing chairs. And they come with a light weight, easily moveable storage racks.
The old items won't be thrown away - we have a vedor who will take them and recyle them at no charge to the parish!
It is my hope that we are able to raise these funds on this year's Giving Tuesday through #iGiveCatholic. Please prayerfully consider making a donation on November 30. (Or sign in for early giving beginning November 15.)
