Adoration Guardians Needed

We are excited to announce that Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will return to OLA on Wednesday, Sepeptember 1 and continue weekly 10am - 6pm in the Church. All are welcome to join us in the ministry and experience this holy devotion. We ask that you prayerfully consider joining us as guardian or substitute guardian.

What is Adoration?

Eucharistic Adoration is a devotion in which the Blessed Sacrament is left exposed on the altar. It is visiting and spending time in quiet prayer with Jesus present in the Eucharist. It is an expression of our love for Jesus, who loves us so much that He never wants to leave us and stays with us in the Blessed Sacrament. It is an excellent opportunity to pray for intentions, ask for direction, and offer thanksgiving.

When is Adoration?

Wednesdays from 10am - 6pm.

Where is Adoration?

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is currently held in the main Church building. The Transept doors by the Tabernacle are the entry and exit point.

How Can I Help?

Volunteers are needed to signup as Guardians of the Blessed Sacrament - especially at the 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm hours. We need at least two guardians committed to each hour that the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. If you are unable to

fulfill your time, substitutes are available. Your help with this ministry as either an assigned guardian or substitute guardian will allow us to continue to offer this holy time at OLA.

Sign up at www.olachurch.org/adoration or contact Betsie Greiff at adoration@olachurch.org.
