A Very Mercy Christmas!

OLA will be collaborating again with Mercy Care this year for the Annual Adopt a Family Program. This is a wonderful program where you have the opportunity to adopt a Mercy Care family in need and purchase "wish list" items for Christmas, culminating with a gift exchange celebration at the Mercy Care Chamblee location.

In light of the pandemic, we have adapted to serve the most pressing needs - adopting aging couples, singles, and families this year. Additionally, in lieu of an in-person gift exchange, Mercy Care will host a festive "Drive By" well wishes gift exchange Saturday, December 12. If you are interested in adopting a Couple, Individual, or Family - or if you are involved with a group or organization who would like to adopt - please contact Victoria Klyza, leader of our Mercy Care Ministry, at victoriaklyza@gmail.com no later than Monday November 30.

Please help Mercy Care keep our most vulnerable health by participating this year with a collection for the Gifts of Warmth campaign. Please donate socks, hats, gloves and scarves. These donated items will be packaged and distributed throughout the winter to those assisted by Mercy Care's outreach initiatives and Street Medicine program. To maintain social distancing, a collection box has been placed outside of the Mercy Care Chamblee Clinic located at 5134 Peachtree Road.
