Edge with Purpose (Youth Ministry & Confirmation Preparation)
Edge with Purpose is more than just our middle school youth group—it also serves as the foundation for faith formation and Confirmation preparation at OLA.
The program runs in 4-week blocks that alternate between Edge, the Life Teen middle school program, and Purpose, the Life Teen Confirmation program. Middle school youth are required to attend these sessions to fulfill the foundational requirements for Confirmation preparation.
Edge (Middle School) is a dynamic ministry for 6th–8th graders that helps middle school youth explore their faith in a welcoming, energetic environment. Each Edge night includes community-building games, relevant teaching, small group discussion, and prayer. Our goal is to give students a safe space to ask questions, encounter Christ, and form lasting friendships grounded in faith.
Edge with Purpose meets on Sundays from 6:30–8pm. Dinner is provided following the 5:30pm Mass.

Edge & Life Teen | Sunday, December 7th - Adoration
Take a break from the holiday rush and join us for a night of Adoration led by Father Nick as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ in this Advent season. Together we will spend time in prayer and reflection remembering the true meaning of this season.
We will start the evening at the Christmas Tree Lighting & Carols then head to dinner in Moylan Hall and finish with Adoration in the Church.
December 14th - Christmas Party
Join us for our Christmas party! We will celebrate with festive activities, food and reflection on the birth of Christ! Bring your friends and get ready for a night full of fun and Christmas joy!
January 11th - Main Event Night
Join OLA's Edge & Life Teen group at Main Event in Alpharetta on Sunday, January 11th from 7:30-9:30pm! We'll get to do bowling, laser tag, and all sorts of fun arcade games and more! Friends are welcome to join, they just have to complete the registration.Visit https://www.olachurch-forms.org/life-teen-main-event to register by January 5th.
Volunteers Needed!
We’re looking for enthusiastic adult volunteers to help make Edge a fun and faith-filled experience for youth! Volunteers assist with setup, dinner, games, crafts, and small group activities. If you enjoy working with young people and want to help them grow in their faith, we’d love to have you on our team!
